Astralight: Pilgrim's Duel · published

The arena will never look the same. This update rebuilds Astralight's battles from the ground up — the flat card board is gone, replaced by a living 2.5D battlefield where every unit stands, breathes, and fights.
Cards you play no longer lie on the board — they step onto it. Every character now appears as an animated battler with idle, attack, and defense motions, dynamic shadows, and proper depth: units in front stand in front, no matter their size.
Battles are now choreographed. Attackers charge in, the camera follows and zooms into the clash, ink splatters on impact, and damage numbers pop at the exact moment the blow lands. Counterattack motions follow the real combat rules — ranged, melee, and intimidated defenders each react the way they should.
Your hero is no longer a portrait on the sidelines. Each hero now leads the army in person as a King unit on the board — with their own stats, abilities, and battler. Protect your King: if they fall, the battle is lost.
And a new hero joins the roster: the Vampire Princess, a dark noble who fights with fury, lifesteal, and regeneration.
A wave of new characters enters the arena, each with a full battle presence:
- Vampire Princess (new hero & King unit)
- Hell Minotaur
- Dwarf Watchman & Dwarf Boar Rider
- Scorpion
- ...joining the wolf, soldiers, elves, and heroines already on the field
Short on time? Tap the new AUTO button and your army fights on its own — full auto-battle powered by the game AI, from mulligan to the final blow. Toggle it anytime, mid-battle included.
- Unified targeting: cards, skills, and attacks all use the same accurate target detection, with clear drop zones on the board
- New in-battle HUD: compact stat plates at every battler's feet, full detail on hover
- Smarter AI: no more pointless attacks from 0-attack units
- Simultaneous KO now correctly ends the match in a draw
- Countless FX, timing, and stability fixes across the battlefield
This is the foundation for everything coming next. Jump in, feel the new battlefield, and tell us what you think — your feedback shapes what we build next.
