FLAK fires a straight shell with a proximity fuze that works from any direction, and bursts into a cone of needles aimed at the enemy that tripped it.
GLAIVE is a crescent boomerang. It cuts on every pass, flies out and back, eases to 25% speed at full reach and accelerates home (top speed 110 u/s), and is back in your hand after a 0.15 s catch delay. Its HUD card dims and traces the glaive's trip while it is out.
Both are in the weapon reward pool, with their own icons.
ARC is now called DYNAMO and has a new icon. Your hull crackles whenever the coil is live, including when a pulse zaps nothing.
A lance-beam kill bursts its leftover damage on enemies within 8 u, with no chain reactions, and shield pierce carries through.
Charge only builds once the cooldown ends, so a release during cooldown is never thrown away. The lance reticle is grey while cooling, faint under minimum charge, armed, shows lethal ticks, and pulses at full charge.
RIPPER's range drops from 350 u to 100 u, with a grey reticle when the target is out of range. The range shows in the codex line and in reward tooltips.
Hold TAB (VIEW on a pad, rebindable) mid-run and the HUD grows in place. PROTOCOLS fades into BUILD at top left, the scoreboard into SQUAD and RUN SO FAR at top right, the card row widens and unfolds one line per mod, and a BEST / SHORT pacer appears under the heat bar.
It never pauses, and it works while you are dead or spectating.
Ally nameplates have a chevron friend mark, readable lifted names, a size that follows range, a critical flag and the beacon's name.
The reward wait banner names the pilots still choosing, such as WAITING FOR KAI AND VEX TO CHOOSE REWARD
After wave 1, periodic weapon racks draw at most two weapons, and the rest comes from the upgrade pool. Wave 1 stays all weapons.
Subtitles have an outline and a soft shadow instead of a dark oval. Console panel captions are in teal Rajdhani with letter spacing.
The hull hit flash now scales with the size of the hit. It used to sit on its minimum.
Squadmates reconnect after the host chooses SAVE & QUIT, and KICK no longer bars the pilot from that lobby for its whole lifetime
The weather test level's timeline repeats every cycle, so one full day loops every 5 waves.
