Demo update 0.9.6.3 — the factory now tells you what's wrong
The first days of the demo taught me one thing very clearly: the game knew why you were stuck, and kept it to itself. Several players sat watching an accepted order go nowhere, with no idea why. This update fixes the silence, not the difficulty. No threshold, penalty, quantity or timing has been changed.
Orders now explain themselves
An order that isn't moving now says why, right on its card, with real numbers and the exact material and finish it wants: "Waiting: Composite Premium Screwcap — 17/30". The reason also shows on the area tooltip and on the floor lane. If an order stays blocked, an alert appears in the HUD, and clicking it takes you to the area involved, which is where you assign warehouses and buy forklifts. The most common causes are covered: no warehouse assigned to the shipping area, nothing of the requested type in stock, no forklift available, or not enough units yet.
You can now see how the run ended
The end-of-run screen states the cause with the actual numbers, instead of just telling you confidence collapsed. It now includes a scorecard of your quarterly reviews, with quarter, KPI reached, threshold required and verdict, plus one line on what weighed most, drawn from your own data. If there was no single culprit, it says so rather than inventing one. There's also a new warning: when you're one failed review away from the end, the game tells you before it happens, not after.
Manual
The jam chapter now includes a short video of the conduit puzzle being solved, so you can see the two moves the text describes. Available in all 11 languages.
Fix
The jam counter didn't update when a cap settled into a side pocket, so a solved puzzle could still read "1/2".
A genuine thank you to the players who wrote in this week, especially the ones who sat there for two hours convinced they were doing something wrong. They weren't. Keep it coming: the Discord link is on the store page, and the forum works too.
