Hi everyone!

Development hasn't slowed down. I know updates have been quiet, so here's a look at what I'm working on for The Merchant's Eden.

Faith - A New Resource

I'm currently working on "Faith", a new resource tied closely to your citizens' happiness. Manage it well, and your people flourish. Neglect it, and your citizens might become unhappy. This is meant to bring a fresh layer of strategy, even for veteran players.

New Buildings

Besides Faith, new buildings will be introduced, giving you more options to shape and optimize your towns.

City Layout Matters More

With the new mechanics and buildings, placement will matter more than ever. Smart planning will become increasingly important to create a flourishing city.

Automated Tower Staffing

No more relying purely on manually assigning defenders to towers. As an alternative to this time-consuming manual process, you'll be able to automate it, making your defense even more efficient.

What Else

Of course I am also working on bugfixes and balancing.

More details soon. Thanks for your feedback and the great inspiration! Join the Discord for even more updates and to share your feedback: Join the Discord now!
