Organized Chaos Playtest · published
Organized Chaos 0.1.7 is live.
This update is all about making the game feel cleaner and more exciting to play. Mystery choices now have a new wheel spin sound, mini-game voting has a clearer and more animated presentation, results flow has been improved, and controller support continues to expand across more screens.
There is also more online and CPU polish in this build. Steam online play has stronger host/client validation and session handling, while CPU players continue to get better at moving through shops, Weasel jobs, Bramble choices, mystery events, Ability Spaces, Toll Spaces, routes, and extra board decisions.
Highlights:
- New mystery wheel spin sound.
- Cleaner mini-game voting screen with bigger player markers and clearer locked-in choices.
- New results artwork for awarding Leaves.
- Improved controller reconnect and reassignment flow.
- More controller coverage across board prompts, voting, results, Ability panels, Toll Spaces, Rules, Map, and pause flow.
- Better Ability preview panel showing what powers do and when they can be used.
- Improved Toll Space Claim/Skip presentation and controller support.
- Stronger Steam online sync, snapshots, command validation, and mini-game session handling.
- Smoother CPU decision flow across more board events.
- Improved Steam/website discoverability metadata for the official game site.
- More regression tests for controllers, online play, board actions, CPU decisions, and Fortune Falls characters.
Toll Spaces and Ability Spaces are upgraded but still being polished, so expect more tuning there. The next big update will focus on fully implementing controller play across the whole game.
Thanks for playing and testing Organized Chaos.
