Organized Chaos 0.1.6 is a bug-fix and polish update focused on making CPU-controlled players behave more reliably across the board. This update fixes several cases where CPU players could stall, restart timers, or get stuck during shops, Weasel encounters, Bramble choices, route decisions, mystery events, ferry choices, and extra-roll turns.
Updated / Improved
- Improved CPU decision-making for shops, Weasel jobs, Bramble challenges, bank guesses, mystery choices, panda naps, ferry rides, mini-game voting, item targeting, and risk/reward events.
- Added automated CPU Bramble challenge resolution with proper win/loss results and penalties.
- Improved CPU route selection during board movement.
- Added clearer board notices when CPU players are thinking, choosing, buying, skipping, winning, or losing a decision.
- Updated shop and Weasel screens so CPU choices and skips are easier to understand.
- Upgraded Ability Space and booster presentation with new art, cleaner choices, and clearer ability previews.
- Polished the command HUD, top notices, dice invite animation, player HUD cards, item slots, and modal spacing.
- Improved pause menu flows for Rules, Controller Settings, Restart, and Back to 3D Lobby.
- Expanded the Rules guide with board-specific space, hazard, and strategy pages.
- Improved controller setup and navigation for opening rolls, rules, map scanning, and menus.
- Polished the 3D lobby with clearer board/sign layout and a quit-game confirmation flow.
Fixed
- Fixed CPU players getting stuck around shops, Weasel stops, Bramble choices, route choices, mystery choices, ferry choices, and extra-roll situations.
- Fixed CPU Bramble encounters using interactive player-only flow instead of automated CPU resolution.
- Fixed CPU prompt timers restarting because of unrelated screen updates.
- Fixed CPU extra-roll tracking so CPUs can roll again correctly after bonus or forced extra-roll states.
- Fixed several CPU choices silently advancing without showing what happened.
- Fixed controller navigation conflicts between Rules, Map, and turn-order screens.
- Fixed small readability issues in HUD panels, notifications, ability choices, shop choices, lobby screens, and pause flows.
Notes
Windows builds are not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may still show a warning on first launch.
Steam online play requires Steam running and matching build versions for all players.
