VITA Early Access Release Timing

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a milestone that means a lot to me: VITA will be entering Early Access on July 20, 2026 with V00.01.0000.

This first release is going to be very, very early access. I want to be honest about that up front. It’s not the finished game, and it’s not meant to be. It’s the point where I can finally start sharing VITA more openly, let people get their hands on it, and keep building it out from there.

That said, I’m still really excited for this first release. V00.01.0000 will include the foundation of the game’s core loop, the systems needed to explore and progress, save/load and travel support, and the first real shape of the experience I’ve been working toward. It’s the beginning of VITA becoming the game I want it to be.

I also want to be clear that there is still a lot more to come. More content, more polish, more creatures, more systems, more quality-of-life improvements, and continued updates after launch are all part of the plan. Early Access is not the finish line here. It’s the start of the public version of the journey.

If you do jump in at launch, I hope you’ll think of it as helping shape something that’s still growing. I’m going to keep listening, keep fixing, and keep adding to VITA as steadily as I can.

Thank you, seriously, for the support so far. It means a lot to be able to share this step with you.

More soon.

Community10 Sep 2026Dev Update #2: Systems, Animation, and the Work Beneath the SurfaceHi everyone, This update is a more technical look at some of the work happening inside VITA. Recently, I’ve been concentrating on the systems that connect exploration, wildlife, scanning, menus, animation, and the VITA OS. Some of this work is immediately visible in the screenshots. Some of it lives beneath the surface, where it determines whether everything continues behaving properly as the g…Community18 Aug 2026Dev Update: It's Behind Schedule... Surprise!VITA Development Update More Game, More Polish, More Time Hello everyone, It has been a while since I posted a proper development update, so I want to talk about where VITA is, what I have been working on, what you can expect next, and why I have changed the release date. The short version is that VITA has grown considerably. The important systems are getting stronger, the world is becoming mor…Community5 Jun 2026VITA: COMING SOONLet the record show that VITA became visible on Steam with good spirit and intention on June 4th, 2026. If for no other reason than to prove what is possible, I am making this game. Two years ago, there was a spark that ignited a passion I had, unknown to me at the time, been keeping at bay: the passion to create something. Anything. To spend hours alone with my thoughts, huddled in front of a…
