Update 1: New Tutorial and Weekly Leaderboards

Changes:

  • New tutorial
  • Alpha and Beta leaderboards are weekly
  • Game hints are shown between stages
  • Optimizations

Details:
This update brings with it a brand new tutorial that we originally developed for demoing the game live at both Nordic Games in Sweden and Vancouver Game Garden. The new tutorial should streamline the first time experience for new users while giving them all the knowledge they need to take on Marrow Marrow. Along with the new tutorial we've also added some helpful hints that show up between levels. Hints can be disabled in settings under HUD.
Lastly, we've long felt that the duration of the Alpha and Beta leaderboards put unnecessary pressure on players to play multiple runs on the same day. While we want to encourage players who are passionate about the game, we also want Marrow Marrow to be a game that you can hop into for a single round without feeling like you didn't get enough done.

Cheers!
