vrOS v1.1.0 Patch Notes
Highlights
Brand-new Time / Date / Alarms / Timers dashboard tab — clock, calendar, stopwatch, and multiple alarms with bundled CC0 sounds, fully localized in 9 languages. The title-bar clock now opens the tab. Plus a smoother dashboard at idle and snappier overlay row clicks.
New Features
- New Time / Date / Alarms / Timers dashboard tab — clock, calendar, stopwatch, alarms, and timers in one place.
- Time tab fully localized across all 9 supported languages.
- Title-bar clock doubles as the Time tab entry button, with an alarm-output channel picker.
- 12/24-hour toggle and delete confirmations on the time picker.
- Calendar gained year-level navigation; alarm picker is now bigger and easier to scan.
- Bundled CC0 alarm samples with a themed picker — alarms run through the same mixer as the rest of your sounds.
Bug Fixes
- VR dashboard no longer crashes when pressing +New alarm.
- Alarms tab no longer crashes in VR; clock settings moved into the Time tab.
- Fixed harsh distortion on alarm tones — they regenerate cleanly on launch.
- Desktop-window alarms now fire correctly.
- Clock and stopwatch now tick visibly on both desktop and VR.
Improvements
- Compact dashboard runs smoother at idle — fewer unnecessary redraws when nothing has changed.
- Clicking an overlay row no longer lags — only the part that actually changed repaints.
- Time tab is more responsive — cached date formatters cut down on per-frame work.
- Themed dropdown replaces the broken native dropdown in the alarm sound picker.
- Alarm tone previews play through the soundboard mixer for consistent levels.
