Strength in numbers has never been more important in Crab God. Today, we’re excited to introduce Community Challenges!
These challenges unite all Crab God players towards common goals, offering both in-game rewards and real-world environmental impact. As you work together to achieve these milestones, you’ll unlock special rewards like accessories for your Crablings and contribute to real-life ocean conservation efforts like you can with Stones of Preservation.
We’re introducing two challenge types: regular challenges and “big events.” Big events will feature unique, limited-time Crabling accessories that become available to all participating players once the challenge is completed.
The main menu will keep you informed about ongoing and upcoming Community Challenges. From repelling a set number of enemies to growing specific plants, many objectives await. The only question is: are you up for the challenge?
Here are the first upcoming Community Challenges:
- 27/08/2024 - 02/09/2024 - Grow 3,500 Star Coral
- 03/09/2024 - 09/09/2024 - Complete 3,600 Ritual Stones
- 10/09/2024 - 16/09/2024 - Cultivate 4,500 plants or corals

New:
- Join forces with other players in Community Challenges, where your collective efforts contribute to real-world ocean conservation! Complete objectives together to unlock in-game rewards and trigger contributions. Check the main menu to see the current challenges and start contributing today!
- You can now Garrison your Hunters so that they stand on top of walls that you’ve built, extending their attack range but preventing them from moving when attacking threats.
- There are 2 new blessings that increase damage from traps and increase the health of your walls.
Improved:
- 📢 Made it easier to select threats that are near plants and corals.
- Re-balanced the ‘Hurry’ action - it now costs a bit more favour.
Fixed:
- 📢 Fixed an issue where threats would sometimes get stuck on the edge of a level when spawning.
- 📢 Fixed an issue where Builders would sometimes go beyond walls to attack threats instead of defend behind them.
