SOLITAIRE.EXE build 119: the desk, softened

THE DESK LOOKS LIKE 1998. Every wallpaper is softened, smeared and grainy like a real old desktop image. Desk icon names sit on the classic Win98 caption box, so they read on any wallpaper, MINEFIELD included.

THE OFFICE IN THE DARK. The room around the monitor is dim, grainy and out of focus, lit only by the screen.

THE FIGURE BEHIND YOU. It only shows on review nights now, never more than once every 45 seconds, as a faint reflection in the glass instead of a sharp shadow. Its creak is much quieter.

SLOTS.EXE TAKES A BET. Pick $2, $4 or $6 a spin. The odds never change; wins pay by the bet, and only the $6 bet pays the full MEGA jackpot.

FIXES. The shift report never hides a record you earned, and fits every language on a crowded night. DOOR_CAM_0000.AVI says when its tape runs out. PROMOTED no longer covers the line under it. Locked felts say how to earn them, and the trial no longer announces items it keeps for the full game.
