Today is a big day for Alaska Gold Fever! We’ve just released Hotfix #46, the FREE Homecoming Update is now available for all players, and the Bandits DLC has officially arrived!
The Bandits DLC introduces dangerous outlaw gangs to Alaska. Explore new regions and mining locations, discover bandit camps, face armed enemies, and take on new quests connected to the bandits and their influence on the region. The DLC also introduces a completely new business: moonshine production. Take over the operation from rival bandits, gather ingredients, process and ferment them, distill your own moonshine, and build and manage your business.
The Bandits DLC is available with a 20% launch discount for a limited time! If you’ve been waiting to expand your Alaskan adventure, now is the perfect time to jump in.
The Homecoming Update is a free update for all Alaska Gold Fever players, bringing your family to Alaska and adding new story content to your journey on the frontier. You’ll be able to build and improve your family home, creating a proper place to live together. The update also expands your business opportunities, allowing you to upgrade the sawmill and work together with your family. You’ll also be able to unlock a new shop selling Polish goods, bringing a little piece of home to the Alaskan wilderness!
To start the Bandits DLC storyline, you’ll need to complete the fourth main story quest and then talk to the Reverend. He’ll give you a new quest called Newcomers, which will send you to a previously unexplored part of Alaska and begin your journey into the new Bandits content.
To begin the Homecoming storyline, you first need to complete the main story (independently of the Bandits DLC) including the part where you send the boat to bring your family to Alaska.
Once your family is on their way, you can start preparing a home for their arrival. To begin this part of the story, talk to the Farmer and he’ll give you the next steps.
We’ve also added new Steam Achievements connected to the new content, giving you even more goals to complete while exploring the new areas, taking on the bandits, and building your life and businesses in Alaska.
