First things first: the closed playtest is live. Hit Request Access on the store page and you're in the queue. We're starting small — a first group gets in right away, and bigger waves follow after that. So if you're not in the first batch, you haven't missed it. Sit tight for the next wave.
Most shelves in the store are happy once every toy is in its place. A few of them want more.Dioramas are our special shelves. Each one is a whole scene taken apart and scattered around the store, and every piece has exactly one spot it belongs to. Track them all down, put them where they go, and the shelf stops being a shelf.
The big one is a whole battle — a landing in progress, with the boat running troops in, sandbags and fencing dug in to meet them, and crates, barrels and a flag around the fight. Put the last piece down and the helicopter's rotor spins up over it.
The train set you assemble carriage by carriage. Snap the last wagon into the display and the whole thing takes off — the locomotive pulls away, picks up speed and starts running laps of the track, with a whistle, a steady chug, and a stream of soap bubbles out of the chimney.
More dioramas are in development right now — a dinosaur valley, and a stunt track for toy cars.
