Minesweeper Variants 1 & 2 Update: New Content and Quality-of-Life Improvements

Hi all,

We would like to thank everyone who has supported 14 Minesweeper Variants 1 & 2! A new major update is now live, featuring new puzzle content for 14 Minesweeper Variants 2 and quality-of-life improvements for both games.

A 30% discount for both games will begin on August 31 and run for one week.

Content update for 14 Minesweeper Variants 2

1. Two new puzzle sets, [2B'] and [2S'], are added to [?]. You can unlock them by completing 3 levels in [2B]7x7 and 3 levels in [2S]7x7.
2. New puzzle sets are added to [&']: [2U] and several new secondary-board combinations. You can unlock [2U] by completing 3 levels in [2L]7x7 after unlocking [&'].
3. Added 8 new achievements.
4. Progress imported from 14 Minesweeper Variants 1 now remains available even after 14mv1 is uninstalled.

Quality-of-life improvements for 14 Minesweeper Variants 1 & 2

1. Added bookmarks and puzzle history.
2. Added 10 new color presets, including 4 created by the community.
3. Added an option to enable colored cells [@c] on all puzzle boards, with customizable colors.
4. Optimized memory usage in the drawing mode. Added redo support for drawing.
5. Added Weak Hint mode, which only shows the clues to use instead of highlighting solvable cells.
6. Added resolution settings.
7. Improved loading speed when completing a puzzle or returning to the main menu.
8. Fixed an error message that could appear after closing the game on macOS.

Meanwhile, we are now actively developing a new Minesweeper-themed game. We do not have more details to share at this point, but stay tuned for more news!
