The free demo of THE BACKLOG is out now.
What's in the demo
A used game shop after closing time. The floor is piled high with games and consoles, and your job is to put every one of them back on the right shelf. The demo uses the same shop floor and the same pile as the full game.
- The whole core loop: pick it up, read the label, shelve it with its console
- A tutorial that teaches the controls and skills
- Online co-op for up to 4 players (everyone needs the demo)
- Japanese, English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean and Russian
The demo ends when you complete one shelf, store 600 items, or after 25 minutes. Skills stop at level 1 and the exit door stays closed. Demo progress does not carry over to the full game.
In the full game
- Two places to tidy: the real shop floor and a small Studio you can finish in one short sitting
- A plaza floating in the night sky where up to 34 players who speak the same language can hang out, fish, set off fireworks and take group photos
- 77 Steam achievements that unlock hats and effects for your avatar
The warehouse and your own room are coming in free updates after launch.
