Bug Fixes & Improvements

This update addresses a number of issues reported since the release of the BREACH Demo.

  • Improved wallrunning to make it feel less forced and more responsive.

  • Fixed issues with ledge climbing causing the player to clip into or become stuck inside walls.

  • Improved the way terminals are exited to make the interaction clearer.

  • Fixed an issue where sliding could softlock the player and prevent movement.

  • Added crouching alongside the sliding fix, giving movement more flexibility without turning the solution into an overly arcade-like mechanic.

  • Fixed an issue where quitting from the Pause Menu could return to the main menu while leaving the screen black.

What's Coming Next

The next update is planned to be the last major update for the demo, and will focus on polish, presentation, and additional content.

Planned improvements include:

  • Fixed UI scaling across different screen resolutions.

  • Further UI improvements.

  • More storytelling through logs, papers, and other environmental details.

  • Improved sound effects.

  • An accessible Test Scene containing unused features, props, development history, and a certain little companion that will not appear in the actual game or demo.
