Ability & Targeting Fixes

This update improves card targeting and fixes several ability interactions.

• Survival Tactics now lets you choose your own unit to sacrifice, then the individual enemy unit to destroy. Cancelling either selection leaves both units untouched and returns the tactic to your hand.

• Marauder Mech’s replacement selection no longer expires after 40 seconds. Added clearer messages when no eligible target or replacement unit is available.

• Biotic Reshuffle now swaps exactly two deployed units instead of performing multiple swaps across the board.

• Minefield now triggers once on the next enemy unit deployed on the selected tile, rather than affecting units elsewhere.

• Venomous Vines no longer incorrectly blocks deployment across the entire board.

• Playing a card now frees its hand slot before draw effects resolve, improving draw behaviour when your hand is full.

• Fixed an issue where drawing cards during deployment could remove the played card’s artwork.

• Prevented lingering card visuals when a unit is destroyed by its deployment effects.

We’re continuing to review card abilities and interactions. Please include the card name, what happened, and what you expected when reporting an issue. Screenshots or short recordings are especially helpful.

Thank you for helping shape Frontiers of Ruin!
