v0.1.116B is now in its final stage!

First of all, thank you for continuing to play Metro Architect and for sharing your feedback with us. We are currently completing the final stability testing for v0.1.116B. As soon as the build is confirmed to be stable and free of major issues, it will become v0.1.117.

Ukrainian and Italian language support + 6 new maps
Metro Architect is expanding with full Ukrainian and Italian language support, together with six new maps:

• Krakow, Poland
• Rome, Italy
• Istanbul, Turkey
• Copenhagen, Denmark
• Lisbon, Portugal
• Kyiv, Ukraine

More stable progression and economy
We fixed progression issues that could affect some maps and improved the economy across all maps. Normal game modes should now provide a more consistent and predictable progression, with fewer situations where the economy can become unexpectedly difficult or unbalanced.

Major 3D mode performance improvements
Optimization work across map rendering and texturing has produced improvements of up to 31 FPS in our testing. This helps the game maintain a stable 60 FPS across larger networks and a wider range of devices. Tunnel visibility in 3D mode has also been improved, making underground sections easier to follow.

Internal Workshop framework
One of the most important additions in this update is the new internal Workshop framework. It creates a modular foundation that will allow future add-ons and optional systems to be activated much more easily inside the game. This framework is designed to support map improvements, customization options, add-ons, different visual styles and other extensions without forcing them into the core experience for every player. One of the first systems built on top of it is a new depot management system for players who want more control over operations. Please keep in mind that depot management intentionally adds more complexity and is still being tested. This is not Steam Workshop support yet. However, the same foundation also makes future Steam Workshop integration possible, and we may add it in the future.

UI and usability improvements
The interface has received several changes aimed at making everyday play clearer and more predictable:

• More predictable UI behaviour by default
• A new Satisfaction page that explains in simple terms how your network is performing
• New shortcut buttons for faster access to different sections
• Automatic train management for players who prefer a simpler experience
• Newly placed stations can now automatically use real-world place names instead of generic default names

Updated line visuals and zoom behaviour
We have also updated line graphics and how trains are displayed at different zoom levels. You may notice that lines feel visually smaller than before, and trains now disappear at lower zoom levels. This is intentional. The goal is to make the overall network easier to read when zoomed out, while keeping detailed line and train information visible when you zoom in.If you would prefer more customization for this behaviour, please let us know through the Steam feedback form or on Discord. Your feedback will help us decide how much control to add in future updates.
