A collectible card game like Silberheim ECG lives and breathes through its cards and the illustrations that bring them to life. And because we remain committed to the value of handcrafted artwork, we intend to replace all AI placeholders for the release version – a project we previously discussed in greater detail in an article on the Silberheim website. Here, we would like to introduce you to a selection of new artworks created since the beta began.

By the way: For a few more days, the Silberheim ECG beta can still be downloaded and played for free via our website. The fastest way to receive updates about the game is through our Discord server.

A Small Part of Something Great: Six New Silberheim Artworks

“Waterway of the Eimh” illustration by Huu Ngan Pham/Zevania  Vietnamese artist Huu Ngan Pham, known as @Zevaniart on Instagram, enchanted us with her illustration “Waterway of the Eimh.” The Fenn use the river – the Eimh – to supply the surrounding regions of the Fenn Realm with firewood and timber.“Wolby Messenger” illustration by Matteo MeloniThis nimble Wolby Messenger was created for us by Italian illustrator Matteo Meloni, who can be found on Instagram under @matt_drawss. These little creatures carry important messages, including commands and orders from the Green Brigade, to all manner of places and recipients throughout the Fenn Realm.“Battle Cry of the Fifth” illustration by Tomas DuchekTomáš Duchek (IG: @tomas.duchek) is a Czech artist whose talent has brought one of the warrior elite’s most powerful units to life. The illustration “Battle Cry of the Fifth” depicts the Morgathal soldiers’ relentless will to triumph in all its royal-blue splendor.“Doonara, Greatest of All Araks” illustration by Klaus PillonFrench artist Klaus Pillon, @klauspillon on Instagram, gives form to what is probably the best-known Arak in the Fenn Realm: “Doonara, Greatest of All Araks.” According to reports, this imposing ruler of the skies is almost twice the size of others of her kind.“Old Wise Noura” illustration by artist Sofia ScolgiSofia Scolgi (IG: @sofifelsen) from Poland wielded her digital brushes to portray the legendary Noura. “Old Wise Noura” came from the Barrier Valley and is said to have shared a very special connection with the animals of the Duskwoods – until she suddenly disappeared one day.“View from the Weltensteig” illustration by Christian AuerOnly the Goldwing can otherwise admire the breathtaking “View from the Weltensteig” across the Fenn Realm, illustrated by Christian Auer (IG: @christianauer). For every other creature in Isdraia, the mighty mountain range is utterly impassable.

The Current State of Silberheim’s Artwork

Silberheim ECG entered beta testing at the end of March this year with around 152 artworks, illustrated by hand by artists from all over the world. These 152 artworks had been created over a period of approximately two to three years. Strictly speaking, the very first of them had been produced much earlier – but it was only when we expanded our art team around 2024 that things really began to take off. This gave production a considerable boost, but it was still nowhere near the level we needed. At the beginning of this year, a whole host of additional creative minds therefore joined the art team. This generated the momentum we urgently need to achieve our goal. As of today (the end of July), Silberheim now has >220 fully completed artworks. That may still not sound like “enough,” but it represents a remarkable increase of more than 40% in just three months. Dozens of additional artworks have already been commissioned or are even nearing completion. Not a day goes by in our offices without the art department announcing that another artwork has been completed. And that makes us incredibly happy.
