Hey everyone! In these patch notes I'll summarize changes from two versions.
It was requested a couple of times and I planned to add it anyway - but didn't find the time to wrap it up before release. You can find it in the settings menu.
There was one event and achievement in the game that caused some players to feel personally offended.
Yes, I'm talking about the Pizza Hawaii event.
I thought about it quite a bit... MOLDRISE is a grungy game, full of nasty dialogs. But I don't want players to personally feel attacked. That is why I changed the dialog and the death message quite a bit. Making the whole even feel more integrated into the game world and hopefully not like a message directed towards the player.
At the same time, I also reworded the achievement that comes with this event.
So far, the Elevator Key was relatively easy to get. This was changed a bit to make aquiring it a bit harder - but also more interesting.
Thanks to some great players in the communityI got a couple of bug reports that I did not catch before release!
Fixed multiple typos that were spotted by the community.
Bugfix: Vending machine talk sound played double.
Bugfix: Vending machine on 20th floor did not correctly handle its inventory.
Bugfix: Restarting a run multiple times had a negative performance impact.
Bugfix Claimed: Audio started crackling on certain audio devices after a certain time. (I need more confirmation)
Bugfix: Roof ending had a bug where you could drop into infinity.
Bugfix: Stairs Hallucination had a bug where you could drop into infinity.
Bugfix: Fixed incorrect Button Hint in Ideas Tutorial
Improvement: Reduced BOOM volume on Drinking Fountain
Improvement: Slightly reduced volume on intro video sequence.
Improvement: Slightly increased transparency on seen dialog options.
Licenses: Added Kenneys Input Prompts.
