What is Game Pavilion JP? For those who might not know, Game Pavilion JP is an amazing showcase event that highlights and celebrates games featuring native Japanese text and language support. It is a fantastic way to connect developers with the passionate Japanese gaming community, and we are absolutely thrilled to be included in this year's lineup! 🇯🇵
Why this means so much to us To say this is a "dream come true" would be an understatement. When we first started developing FishOmatic, we drew a massive amount of inspiration from the golden era of 2000s Japanese games. We spent countless hours immersed in the cozy, rewarding worlds of classics like Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing.
The charm, the relaxing gameplay loops, and the sense of community in those games shaped the very DNA of FishOmatic. To now have our game featured in an event celebrating the Japanese gaming community—the same community that gave us the games that inspired us to become developers in the first place—is an incredibly full-circle moment for our studio. 🥹
