Tank Havoc Playtest Changelog v0.1.60

Lobby & Game Mode Information

- Added gameplay explanation clips to the lobby on the game mode selection and matchmaking screens.

- The minimap preview in the lobby now displays additional icons with short descriptions related to the selected game mode.

MOBA - Bomb Run

- Added new base defenses to MOBA. Each base now has 5 turrets:

- 1 large turret with higher damage and a slower firing rate.

- 4 small turrets with lower damage but a higher firing rate.

- Turrets with beacons in advanced positions are now automatically controlled by the team on the corresponding side of the map.

Brawl - Bomb Run

- Added 2 small turrets near each team's base for additional defense.

Brawl - Supply Drop

- Captured supply crates must now be delivered to your team's base instead of simply being carried by a tank.

- The countdown starts when one team has 10 crates in their base.

- Crates stored in a team's base can now be stolen by opposing players.

- When a team collects 10 crates and the countdown begins, a wave of additional units will spawn from the opposing team's base for a final attack.

- The team that collected 10 crates must defend their base, while the opposing team must steal the crates and deliver them to their own base before the countdown ends.

- If the crates are stolen and delivered to the opposing base, the situation is reversed.

Controls & Input

- Updated default input bindings:

- Throw Bomb is now Space (hold + release) instead of Ctrl + Click.

- Secondary Fire is now RMB instead of Space.

- Throw Mine and Ballistic Fire Mode now also use RMB (hold + release) instead of Space + Click.

- Precision Aim has been disabled. The camera now always behaves as if Precision Aim is enabled, following the cursor position.

- Input bindings will now reset to their defaults when the game is launched for the first time after an update.

- Improved controller input and aim assist.

- When Directional Drive mode is selected, the tank will automatically rotate toward the desired direction after a short key press or stick movement.

- The aiming line now shows where the bullet will hit, including when it intersects with an obstacle or the edge of high ground.

- Primary and Secondary Fire HUD elements now display their corresponding input icons.

Tank Damage Zones

- Added tank damage zones. All tanks now have weak and reinforced areas.

- These zones are highlighted when aiming at a tank:

- Weak zone: +50% damage.

- Reinforced zone: -50% damage.

- Normal zone: Standard bullet damage.

Tanks & Gameplay

- Cash is no longer reset when starting a new round.

- Improved the responsiveness of damage counter indicators when a tank is hit.

- Player-controlled tanks now have tank-to-tank collisions enabled.

- Player controlled tank now have an outline when hidden in bushes, making them easier to control.

- All player tanks now have a team-colored UI circle beneath them for better visibility and clarity.

- Tanks can now crush debris from destroyed hexes by driving over it.

- Destroyed tank objects are now hidden much faster to provide better visual clarity.

- Reduced the base speed of all tanks by approximately 10%.

- Increased the speed bonuses provided by skills.

Shop

- When purchasing multiple Reactive Armor items quickly, they will now be delivered using a single capsule.

- Unit purchases from the shop are now immediate. Units are automatically positioned around the player's tank instead of requiring the player to manually select a placement position.

- Shop items will now always remain in the same slot, even when new items are added through skills.

- Fixed shop bugs where some items could appear inactive even when the player was able to purchase them.

- Updated tutorials to reflect recent game mode and gameplay changes.

- Added a new feedback survey after matches and tutorials.
