DEMO UPDATE V1.5.4 PATCH NOTE

Gameplay:

- Vehicle camera can now be moved vertically

- Vehicle handling is now more "arcade-style" (easier to drive)

- Navmesh fixes to optimize the route on the map

- Map: icons now appear on the Laptop map + custom marker is more precise + locations names added

- Mouse inversion option added to the controls menu

Graphics:

- Improved NPC clothing: better skinning (weighting), adjusted collars and textures, female officers outdoor coat are not too large anymore

- Added more dirt and debris to the ground

- New rendering method adds grime to corners

- Fog color variations during the day

- Walking NPCs now have hair

- More variety of hats

- Officer caps now reflect their military/police branches affiliation

- The construction cranes are now more visible

World (Lore):

- State press presence, new camera mesh

Performance:

- Optimized hair for certain NPCs (switched from the "groom" system to a static mesh, with no noticeable visual loss)

- Lighting optimizations

- Navmesh method is now static (instead of runtime generation), this saves CPU computation, with a minimum increase of RAM usage, while also improving the precision of custom map markers.

- NPC clothes materials optimization (+ more realistic rendering)

Level Design:

- Street widened between the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of the Interior

- Adjustments to the demo map boundaries (minor)

Interface (UI):

- Miscellaneous settings (time of day, language etc.) are now hidden by default in the in-game main menu

- Controls menu improvements

Sound:

- Added metal creaking sound to fans

Known issues remaining to be fixed:

- Inventory widget sometimes needs to be closed two times to disappear

- Loading a save from the in-game menu must be reworked: currently it loads the level outside of the level streaming, which causes to remove the navmesh, and other issue.

Good progress has also been made on the full game; a new test version will be available soon, featuring the old "District" area as well as the four possible outcome for this first chapter (with unique gameplay sequences), that follow the first mission.
