Card Artwork Update Arrives October 1st

The cards of Current Draw are getting a major visual update!

I’ve been redesigning the card artwork around a new blueprint-inspired style that better fits the game’s electrical theme. The updated cards are designed to feel more distinctive while making important information easier to find during a run.

The update includes:

  • New hand-drawn card illustrations

  • Blueprint-style card backgrounds

  • Clearer names, descriptions, types, and amperage values

  • New rarity badges

  • Improved contrast and readability

  • More consistent layouts across the entire card collection

The goal is to give every card its own personality without sacrificing clarity when several cards are on the board at once.

This artwork update is currently planned to become publicly available in the Current Draw demo on October 1. Development schedules can occasionally shift, but I’ll post another update if that date changes.

Thank you to everyone following the project and sharing feedback. If you haven’t already, wishlist Current Draw and try the updated cards when the demo goes live!
