The PLAYTEST runs until 27.09.2026.
Below is the short version of what’s worth trying. You don’t have to follow any of it, but the people who do tend to find the strange stuff first.
Share your Room ID with your friends so they land in your session, or invite them straight from the pause menu. Spooky Ride is built for a crew: riding solo works, but it shows you maybe half of what this game is.
Customize yourself and your bike before you head out. It’s worth doing before you’re covered in whatever the woods throw at you.
Follow the red cable if you get lost. It always leads somewhere useful.
Charge crystals with LBF. Different machines react to that in different ways, and the vending machine is worth your time.
Don’t leave him behind. There are consequences, and you’ll notice them.
Watch for Madness. It can save a run or ruin it, and some things in the world only become visible while you’re under its effect. If you’re hunting secrets, that’s your lead.
Try every item you find, on yourself, on your friends, on enemies, on the scenery. A few of them do things we didn’t plan for.
Answer a mini game wrong on purpose and see what happens.
Fight enemies badly. Stun them, distract them, try whatever isn’t the obvious solution.
Wander off the main path. Hidden areas hide extra loot and other surprises.
Use the reaction wheel, on X by default. Half the comedy in this game is watching someone else react.
Ping with the middle mouse button. Pointing at something beats describing it while a Skinwalker closes in.
Read the lore. It’s scattered around the world and it explains a lot once you start.
Find the easter eggs. There are two Big Foot easter eggs hidden in the main menu. So far nobody has told us they found both.
This is a playtest build, so expect rough edges. On our list already: bike jitter for clients in multiplayer, physics behaving in ways we didn’t plan with odd collisions and objects launching themselves, occasional crashes around respawning, animations getting stuck until you trigger another one, Skinwalkers freezing in place or losing track of players, and sound effects that sometimes decide not to play.
If you run into something that isn’t on that list, we want to hear about it. That’s exactly what this playtest is for.
