Dev Log #2 - Release Date Announcement

Den-Den: Tokyo Horror · published 8 Sep 2026, 09:08 UTC

The release date has finally been decided! We’re thrilled to announce publicly that Den-Den: Tokyo Horror will be released to the entire world on October 12, 2026.

It’s been two years since we released Water Delivery on September 18, 2024. Water Delivery was our first “real game”. Before Water Delivery, as some of you are already aware, we spent nearly two years making small games in Fortnite.

After Water Delivery was released, the very next day in fact, our team sat around a table and decided what our next game would be. It only took us a few hours to decide.

None of us expected the game would take two years to make.

Our hope is that Den-Den: Tokyo Horror will be unlike anything you’ve ever played before.

While it takes inspiration from games such as Pathologic, Resident Evil, Bioshock and The Elder Scrolls - its unique mixture of dynamic horror and immersive sim game design come together to create something we feel truly stands apart from all other games on the market today.

On October 12, 2026 - you as the player will be able to discover if you possess the courage and determination to make it through this intense, eight hour, horror experience.

We wouldn’t be here today without the support of our fans and community. Thank you for being on this journey with us. Den-Den: Tokyo Horror is a game that was made for you.

While waiting for the experience to begin, please take a moment to enjoy our latest trailer and wishlist the game on Steam.

Sincerely,
Frozen Lake Software Dev Team
