Hello everyone! First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who has bought the game so far - and especially to those of you who took the time to leave a review. I really appreciate it! :)
I've been reading through the feedback since launch, and I'm already working on the first patch. Along with fixing a few issues, I want to make some improvements based on what players have been saying.
Make Jess's payment-scene dialogue much clearer about which choices can lead to NTR content
Make the requirements for reaching the "Good" route a little more forgiving
Add a new "Pure-hearted" ending for Delphine, including some new dedicated artwork
Add the option to cane Jess's ass during the pillory scene
Add confirmation popups to the Load/Save menus to help prevent accidental misclicks
Various other small fixes and improvements
One thing that surprised me after launch was just how strongly some players felt about the NTR content; particularly in a game where the love story is an important part of the experience.
That said, I do intend to keep it in the game.
Jess is supposed to be a genuine antagonist, and I want the player's decisions to have consequences. If every choice ultimately leads somewhere safe, then I feel like she loses some of her bite as a villain. There need to be bad outcomes as well as good ones.
What I do agree with, however, is that those consequences need to be communicated more clearly.
Players who want to avoid NTR should be able to do so without accidentally stumbling into it because the consequences of a choice weren't obvious enough. That's something I could have handled better, and I'll be addressing it in this update.
The NTR route will remain, but it should be much clearer when you're making a choice that can lead you toward it.
