PHONE FLIPPER – FULL RELEASE UPDATE
The biggest update in Phone Flipper's history is now complete.
With this update, we didn't simply add new content. We reworked a large portion of the game's core systems. Progression, economy, phone trading, repair mechanics, rooster systems, NPCs, the computer system, and music have all been improved or expanded.
Below, you can find the major additions and improvements included in the Full Release.
STORY & GAME PROGRESSION
A story has been added to the game and fully integrated into the overall progression.
Rather than being separate from the main gameplay, the story now progresses naturally as you develop your shop and advance through the game.
BROKEN PHONE & REPAIR SYSTEM
A new system for purchasing broken phones has been added.
You can now purchase damaged phones at lower prices, repair them, and put them back up for sale to make a profit.
The repair process and interface have also been redesigned to provide a smoother and more intuitive experience.
MUSIC SYSTEM
The game's music system has been improved.
A Music Player has been added to the computer, and the way music playback works has been redesigned.
The same track will no longer repeat continuously. Once a song ends, the playlist automatically continues with the next track.
GAME ECONOMY & BALANCE
The game's economy and overall balance have been reworked from the ground up.
Phone buying and selling, repair costs, progression speed, and other economic systems have been reviewed and rebalanced for the Full Release.
FAKE PHONE MODELS
The visuals of 22 fake phone models have been completely redesigned.
Chinese text that appeared on some of the older models has also been removed. We apologize to our Chinese players for overlooking this detail during development.
The remaining 10 phone models will be updated to the same visual standard as soon as possible.
IMPORTANT UPDATE NOTICE
To experience all the changes included in the Full Release update properly, we recommend uninstalling your current version of the game and reinstalling it.
Since many of the game's core systems and progression mechanics have changed, we strongly recommend that you do not continue using your old save files.
To properly experience the new story, economy balance, difficulty modes, and all of the redesigned systems, you should start a new game.
Old save files may cause compatibility issues, missing content, or unexpected bugs with the new systems.
Recommended steps:
Uninstall your current installation of Phone Flipper.
Reinstall the game through Steam.
Instead of loading an old save file, start a New Game.
Following these steps will ensure that you experience the Full Release version as intended.
FULL RELEASE
This update represents one of the biggest milestones in Phone Flipper's development.
Our goal wasn't simply to add more content. We wanted to create a more cohesive experience where the game's systems work better together, player decisions have a greater impact, and long-term progression feels more rewarding.
For this reason, while some existing systems were expanded, others were completely rebuilt from the ground up.
