Freedoms Greetings Helldivers,

So we wanted to use today's blog to celebrate an amazing initiative from players within our community: “HEROES 2026”, The Freedom Alliance annual fundraiser with Save The Children.
The Freedom Alliance is the largest independent community for Helldivers 2 boasting over 50,000 active members across Discord and their website (https://www.freedomalliance.gg/). Freedom Alliance runs a wealth of community activities, from community-driven orders to news broadcasts to the HEROES fundraiser that just ended on June 28.
Stemming from a Major Order 2 years ago, when the mighty Helldivers opted to forgo the MD-17 Anti-Tank Mine stratagem for a third time (much to the surprise of us here at the studio) and save children trapped in Super Citizen Anne's hospital on Vernen Wells. The Freedom Alliance has since turned this into their tentpole event every year. Teaming up with the Save The Children foundation and auctioning off a range of cool items signed by us here at Arrowhead Game Studios, along with other amazing items made by people within the community.
This year's event took another major leap by partnering with one of our Propaganda Commanders, Commissar Kai, and a wealth of other core community members to add a Streamathon. The Streamathon helped raise even more money, more than double the amount raised in 2025.
