I don't know why some people hate this game just because it has an "A.I content notice".
I just wanted to be transparent about some content generated by A.I. But this is still a game that is made by a real human.
"Early version of Oleander-X, temporary using the Godot Engine Logo as the characters"
I started with the ideas and the story. The story of Ethan was original written by myself. I design the gameplay from the beginning:
- An agent's trying to get in a lab of a dark network, collecting evidence and getting out. The final gameplay till now, is nothing different from the early version as you see above. I spent months and weeks to improve it, day by day. Of course, A.I helped me to speed it up. But it was just a support. Even for animation on my game, I tried to design frame by frame, by "Paint". You can imagine how crazy that I designed my characters moves just by the Paint's eraser and pencil tools. You can also see the maps, especially the walls, I used Paint to draw all of the angels of the walls. I know that some people would see it ugly. But I am very proud of it. I spent hours to customize, and to ensure this design compatible with the way I put into the title map. I don't have budget for audio/sound effects. All of the sound effects on the game were made by me. I use the tools on my table, like a pen, my hands, feet, and my son's organ keyboard toy to make all these sounds. I know this game have a lot of things more to improve. I promise to you, I welcome all your feedback to improve it. But if your just comment "A.I slop", I'll ignore it. I don't want to make "devlogs" from the begining. People said that is the way "indie devs" do the marketing of their game. However, I just want to focus on the product, not the developer. If you love it, let's play! If you don't like it, maybe you can give it a chance. Or, you really hate it, please ignore it. It is my months of working, I'll won't stop just because of any hate comments from anyone. I am working on a free Demo of this game to make you may all give it a chance. If you purchase my game, and you want any fixing that make your more enjoyable, I'll do my best to serve my customers. Thank you for all the supports. Regards,
Jason
