Development Update 04/30/2026

Hey, storm chasers! It's been a while — almost a year since the last development update. I want to be upfront about why, and reassure you that the project is very much alive.

This past year has been the most demanding of my life outside of game development. I'm in my final year of college, running TIMMYG Studios as a self-employed business at the same time, and recently moved into my own apartment — turns out it comes with power and internet bills too! Between coursework and keeping the business going, development time has been limited. But Tornado Emergency has never been cancelled, and I've never stopped working on it.

With that said, here's what's new.

Updated Main Menu

The main menu has been overhauled with a refreshed theme and style.

Hail Denting

Get caught in a hailstorm and your vehicle will show for it. Hail now physically dents vehicle paint, so your chase rig will look the part after a rough run.

A Few Shots From the Field

Some previously unseen shots of the map and a few tornadoes for good measure.

What's Next?

The focus remains on bug fixing, polishing, and finishing out the remaining content. Updates will be more frequent as life settles down. Thanks for sticking around, and stay tuned!
