Difficulty and the enemy

- Pick the difficulty when you start a new singleplayer game: Coward, Adventurer, Knight and King!

- King unlocks after your first singleplayer win.

- The enemy has been reworked. It drafts perks the way you do, commits to a strategy, rebuilds when it falls behind, and no longer hoards resources instead of building.

- Knight plans its building, perks, training and attacks instead of guessing.

- The enemy now uses its shack, walls and spells early, pairs dogs with its questing knights, recalls them when its castle is under attack, sells surplus animals, and summons dragons.

Gameplay

- Perk offers favor early picks early and late picks late.

- Pack Hunt has been retired.

- Dragons now reach 2 columns while still counting as melee.

- Primal Fury now boosts dogs paired with a knight.

- Imps no longer take up troop capacity.

- Barn Sell buttons sit beside each animal with their payout, and beavers can be sold.

- Turn resolution plays out at half the speed.

- Local Hotseat no longer earns unlocks or achievements

Interface and visuals

- New Default Skins option overrides every troop in its default look.

- The skins you start a battle with stay for the whole battle. The enemy keeps one set of skins per battle, and skins for units you haven't met are held back until you meet them.

- Every troop now animates as it moves, and flying and mechanical units don't.

- Unavailable buttons explain why when you hover or focus them.

- Re-read your last quest report from the quest badge.

- New players are pointed to the tutorial from the title screen.

- Cleaner, solid outlines for hovered, focused and selected units and structures.

- Erasing save data now clears your Steam Cloud copy too.
