Finally here! Player now has 2 separate hitboxes, one for collisions with ground and one for collisions with enemies. The hitbox that relates to enemy collisions is place generally around each player character's torso area, whereas previous system required the hitbox to be covering the entirety of the player's lower half (causing hitbox issues with enemies from below). I also made this hitbox generally thinner, specifically for the other player characters of the tall-type (since they're all crazy skinny).
I also changed the collider type for the ground collider, from a Box to Capsule. This prevents any weird issues with the very corners of platforms, since now you'll just slip off. With my playtesting it's been a pretty good change, but it also comes with its own little bits of jank to it. I think it's an improvement generally, but if the players get major issues with it, I may go back to the Box Collider. If you're worried about accidentally slipping off a platform, just know that's like... PRETTY hard to do since (fun fact) the weight plate's collision extends beyond their model a little. Oh also since the game has like infinite coyote time, any case you do accidentally slip off (can possibly happen in some of the Hell Course levels and Demeanor's autoscroller bits) shouldn't actually be all that problematic.
This is a VERY major change to the game, feedback for this is VERY appreciated! Anything you think should be tweaked, feel free to voice in like Steam Discussions or whatever. Okay bye now, have a good day/night!!!
