Ruin Gameplay Changelog

World & Movement
Fixed caves and some large world objects incorrectly pushing or pulling players around.
Mounts and wandering mobs now stand and move more correctly on bridges, docks, boats and other raised surfaces.
Fixed several tree variants showing Invalid World Object. These trees can now be chopped and interacted with normally.

Housing & Building
Fixed some existing houses incorrectly giving the Build a house first message.
House placement now correctly checks the actual area underneath the house.
The extra border around a house placement is now only a visual guide and no longer needs to be flat.
Blocked tiles around the outside border show yellow but will not stop you placing the house.
Distant player houses, buildings and furniture now render more efficiently.

Crafting
Recipes now use their proper crafting time instead of completing instantly.
The crafting bar now shows the item being crafted and the remaining time.
Craft All now crafts each item individually and shows how many are remaining.
Moving while crafting now cancels the current craft and the rest of the Craft All queue.
Pressing ESC also cancels crafting.
Cancelling an unfinished craft does not consume its materials.
Craft All now stops before starting another item if there is no inventory space.
You will receive a clear message when your inventory is too full to continue crafting.
Furnace progress now appears immediately when you begin the first smelt.
The crafting/cast bar now stays visible above other open windows.

Mail
Mail is now accessed by being near a Mailbox.
Mailboxes can exist in towns or be placed as furniture.

While near a mailbox you can:
Read mail
Send new messages
Add a recipient and subject
Write longer messages
Claim item attachments
Point Store items can be delivered to your Mail if your backpack is full.
Normal vendor purchases still require inventory space and will not charge you if the item cannot be added.

Items & Combat
Added new Luck-based item affixes, including of Luck and of Fortune.
Abilities now correctly appear unavailable while stunned, incapacitated or otherwise unable to perform actions.
Hurl Weapons now properly disables abilities that require your melee weapons until the weapons return.

Controls
Mouse Button 4 and Mouse Button 5 can now be used as normal keybindings.
They display as M4 / M5 on the Action Bar.
Fixed clicking a keybind option sometimes assigning Left Mouse instead of waiting for the button you actually wanted to bind.

UI
Press F1 to show the new larger performance information display.
Press F2 to completely hide the game UI for screenshots or videos.
You can still move and play normally while the UI is hidden.
Press F2 again to restore everything.

Performance
Lowering Far Clip now properly stops distant world models from being rendered.
Player built houses and furniture now use their proper distance detail levels.
Improved how distant world objects, buildings and furniture are handled to help client FPS.
