Two big things in this one: heroes no longer come with skills already known (you train
them now) and there’s a new fishing area with a fresh batch of fish and food to cook.
Heads up if you already have a save
Your heroes’ skills were cleared. Nothing is lost: everything they knew is sitting in the
new Training Grounds waiting to be trained, and the first skill is cheap. The game will
explain this with a one-time popup the next time you walk into your garrison.
Skills are trained now
- New menu: the Training Grounds — the book icon at the top right of the garrison.
- Heroes are recruited knowing nothing. Every skill is bought there with copper, one at a time.
- Battle loadout: a hero brings 1 skill into a fight at level 1, a second at level 8 and a third at level 20. Anything else you’ve trained sits on the bench until you swap it in. Click a slot to empty it.
New fishing area: Frostmere Deep
- Built for Fishing 12 and up. Bites are slow and the line fails more often, but nothing that comes up is small.
- Four new fish: Silverscale Minnow, Ironjaw Crayfish, Glacierback Trout and Palescale Sturgeon.
- Silverscale Minnow also swims in Amberfin Shallows and comes up 2–3 at a time. The catch log and the popups now group duplicates (“Silverscale Minnow x3”).
Cooking: 8 new recipes
Cooking level 12 through 20:
- Silverscale Fry — restores 130 health.
- Mist-Veil Roe Bites — +10 agility and +3% crit for 3 min.
- Riverroot Chowder — 190 health over 10s.
- Ironshell Crayfish Stew — +150 armor for 3 min.
- Clay-Baked Ironjaw — restores 260 health.
- Smoked Copper Eel Jerky — +15% attack speed for 3 min.
- Grave-Salt Cured Minnow — cleanses poison and curses and keeps them off for 90s.
- Glacierback Roast — restores 300 health, then 180 more over 12s.
Tweaks
- Copper Eel chance in Amberfin Shallows: 8% → 12%.
- Muddy Blue-Gill chance in Sinir Lake: 7% → 12%.
- Roster cards are shared between the party screen and the Training Grounds, so hero state reads the same everywhere.
Still an alpha, if something looks wrong, tell me. Bug reports and feedback are what keep
this moving.
