Hey everyone!

Following up on the electricity system from the last devlog — I've spent this week making it a lot meaner.

Outages aren't random anymore. Once you're past the first few days, you can count on one hitting every day, and always while you're busy running the station.

The generator is still your way out, but it's hungrier than before. It burns fuel straight out of your own tanks — the same fuel you were going to sell — and if you run dry while it's going, it shuts down and the station goes dark again. Keeping some fuel in reserve matters now.

Charging electric cars costs you electricity too, so EV customers show up on your bill. Still profitable, just not free money anymore.

And solar panels got a big buff — they produce three times as much as before, and they keep working during outages.

More updates coming as development continues — wishlist the game to follow along!

— Erdem

Community22 Aug 2026Devlog #3 — The Station Is Getting Co-opHey everyone! Big one this time. **Highway Station Sim is becoming a four-player co-op game.** This is something I'd looked at before and backed away from, because I was worried about missing the release date. That pressure eased up, and once it did there wasn't really a good argument left against it. This game is a lot of small jobs happening at once — pumps, shelves, orders, the register — an…In-game event25 Jul 2026Devlog #1 — Power & Electricity SystemHey everyone! I've been working on a new mechanic for Highway Station Sim: a full electricity system for the station. Your station consumes power throughout the day. At midnight, you get a bill based on how much you used. Solar panels can offset that cost — or even earn you money if you produce more than you consume. On top of that, random power outages can hit starting from Day 3. When they do…Community23 Jun 2026Solo Developer Looking for Beta TestersHello everyone! I'm excited to finally introduce Highway Station Simulator to you! This project is being developed by a solo developer , and I've been working hard to create an enjoyable gas station and highway service area management experience. While development is progressing well, I'd love to get feedback from players as early as possible to help make the game even better. Looking for Beta…
