In this update, we've introduced new features to improve the player experience, enhanced online stability, and made significant improvements to the game's physics.
🎨 Vehicle Color Selection in the Lobby
You can now choose your vehicle's color directly from the lobby before starting a game. Personalize your ride and make it easier to tell your vehicle apart from your teammate's.
🃏 Steam Trading Cards
Steam Trading Cards are now available for Chained Wheels! Earn cards by playing the game, trade them with other players, and use them to craft badges and customize your Steam profile.
🔄 Rejoin Last Session
We've added a Rejoin Last Session button to the main menu. If a client player gets disconnected for any reason, they can now quickly reconnect to their most recent session and continue playing.
🗑️ Delete Save Files
Save files can now be deleted directly from the lobby. Easily remove unused, accidental, or unwanted saves whenever you want to start fresh.
🔗 Chain Replication Improvements
We've improved the chain's online synchronization. In some cases, the chain could appear differently for the host and client players. It should now remain much more consistent for everyone.
⚙️ Physics Improvements
We've made major improvements to the vehicle and chain physics. Vehicles are now far less likely to be launched unexpectedly after getting stuck on the environment or each other. We've also significantly reduced the chain jitter that could occur when it was stretched to its limits.
