Some last-minute fixes before Next Fest kicks off!If you experience any bugs, please post them in the Discussions forum, and I will fix any stragglers as they come up.CHANGELOG

  • Large placeable objects now fade out when the player moves behind them (Fruit Trees, Water Wheel, Windmill, Wind Turbine)

  • Fixed Treasure Tentacles vanishing on map change instead of sticking around for the full day when they spawn

  • Added more particle effects for hitting wood/rocks and other random things

  • Added better mouse cursor hiding logic so the cursor will hide more easily and consistently for gamepad users

  • Smoothed out various map loading stutters and delays, especially when loading save files and between areas

  • Fixed the radio not respecting the master and BGM volume settings

  • Fixed the radio menu showing two selection cursors

  • Fixed item harvest messages sometimes showing the wrong item name

  • Made the item harvest messages replace each other instead of queue, meaning lots of repeated harvests will not lead to a long period of item message popups until they all finish, instead they will clear shortly after you finish harvesting

  • Removed 0.5x and 1.5x zoom options, as they always looked distorted. 0, 1, and 2 are still there, which are the most common anyways

  • Fixed rocks on the farm looping the "overburdened" message

  • Fixed a crash caused by pressing inputs during the boot sequence

  • Fixed the correct button prompts not displaying in the tutorial for SteamDeck users

  • Several changes were made to the boot process to make it more stable. Proton users will still need to use v9.0-4.
