It's been a long journey since development started in Ren'Py for Gamejolt's Game Jam, where we ranked #1 in the narrative category. After that, we put all our effort into making the game more than just a narrative experience with moral choices. We wanted the player to explore and feel that the world has fallen apart — and that you need to risk your life to get resources for your family. We ported the game to Godot and after that we started to build an entirely new mechanics of exploration in 360º.

The new engine opened so many opportunities that we started building more and more effects, and structural possibilities that now it can be used as an entire game engine for narrative stories, scripting them in json with an html editor that let you build a story as complex as you may dare. The game looks INCREDIBLE now. And we're having so much fun filling now the game with fun stories to play...We're thinking on releasing the engine after the game is completed for everyone to use it, but I don't know if it's going to be interesting enough for the community.Anyways, here's a glimpse of how much the game has changed in 8 months.
