Dev Update - visual tweaks and campaigns

The main thing over the last couple of weeks has been getting a DEMO ready for NextFest, not long to wait until you can try out an early build and several full scenarios. Now onto the rest of the news.

With the UK mini campaign finished attention naturally turned to adding the first Warsaw Pact campaign to CWB. The obvious thing to do would have been to make a chain of scenarios based around a Soviet / Russian formation but I rarely enjoy doing the obvious thing. The first Pact campaign added to the game will therefore follow a Polish Motor Rifle Battalion starting with their initial probe into Ratzeburg in the North.

Elsewhere I have spent a fair bit of time the last couple of weeks considering feedback received from folk here and on X, it has been really useful and whilst I wont be able to make everyone happy CWB will be better for people having shared their thoughts.

I also made what may well be one of my favourite scenarios so far, with Egyptian IS-3, SU-100 and ATGM units facing off against Israeli Super Shermans and M48's in a Six Day War Scenario. I had to play it several times from both sides, enjoying it all before settling on the final version with the player as the Egyptian side.

Some minor visual tweaks have been added too, simple things like an indicator on transport unit counters to show if they are carrying passengers and some colour highlighting of key stats in the side panel (See below screenshot) to make seeing the important stuff easier.

That's it for now, thanks for reading.
