A digging-focused update: the excavator now carves out proper clumps of dirt, kicks up dust, and the bucket shakes far less when you dig hard.
Digging
- Dirt comes from the cut. Excavator dirt chunks now appear right where the bucket carves the ground, instead of popping into the bucket out of nowhere.
- Much more dirt. Digging produces far more chunks, so a full scoop actually looks full.
- Chunks match the ground instead of glowing green.
- Cartoon dust. Puffs of dust burst from the cut as you dig, and when dirt lands in a truck or on a pile.
- Much less bucket shake. The excavator bucket and arm no longer get knocked around by freshly dug dirt when you dig into heavy ground.
- Rocks under the dig site are solid and now block your bucket and your worker.
- No more swimming in deep holes. Walking around the bottom of a deep dig no longer switches you to swimming.
Excavator
- Look around from the cab. Move the mouse to look around and scroll to zoom while sitting in the cab.
- Reworked bucket mount. The bucket now hangs from proper mounting brackets, and curling it in no longer clips through the arm.
Other fixes
- Jump no longer stops working after getting in and out of vehicles and boats.
- Get out of the tug onto its back deck instead of beside it.
Known
- The skidsteer bucket can still shake when pushing into piles of dirt dug by other machines.
- Digging the dirt piles in the delivery bays can leave dark floating shards that can tip the skidsteer.
