September 19 - Runtime & Compatibility Update

Family Office Simulator · published 19 Sep 2026, 22:07 UTC

A small maintenance update is now live for Family Office Simulator.

This release updates the game’s underlying Windows runtime to a newer supported version and includes compatibility work around Steam integration, rendering, save/load behavior, and application lifecycle handling.

There are no intentional gameplay, balance, economy, progression, or save-format changes in this update.

What changed

• Updated the underlying desktop runtime to a newer supported Electron release
• Verified Steam launch and overlay behavior
• Revalidated save/load, normal Quit, window close, relaunch, and pending-save handling
• Revalidated current financial and accounting regression coverage
• Revalidated the current Steam package and Windows rendering behavior

Existing saves remain supported and no new game is required.

This update is primarily preventative maintenance so Family Office Simulator stays on a supported runtime foundation while development continues.

Thanks, as always, for playing and for continuing to report anything that looks off.
