I have been radio silent for 7 Months working hard on improving and testing the Demo before being confident enough to release it. Today is that day, and I am PROUD to officially announce that the Demo for VOIDWATCH: CrossLust is available to play for free FOREVER!
Without further adieu, let's get into what you can expect in the Demo!
The Prologue section in its ENTIRETY is playable from beginning to end, and work is being done with the Main Build to ensure Save Transferring is possible for those that played all the way through! You might even be rewarded for doing so, that is if you were paying attention enough!
There are now 3 Classifications of Physical Damage. Bash, Slash, and Pierce. These make both the Weapons and Skills more unique and allow for more variety in combat. Speaking of skills, there are 2 different types characters can learn; Vim and Rage.
Alongside improving older features, there is a new system in place for determining how Brian's story will proceed; the Karmic System. Throughout the Demo, and of course the Main Build; the Player will be judged for their actions and decisions throughout their time exploring Voideo. The Karmic System directly affects how the story will proceed, and will change the ending of the game once fully released.
Now for the biggest news, VOIDWATCH: CrossLust will be releasing as an Early Access title. What this means is there will be major updates throughout the next year that will continue Brian's story. This decision was made as opposed to waiting until a complete release for the simple fact that the first iteration of this project began development in 2021, and has had three different Demos publicly released to this very Itch page. It is a professional guarantee that the project WILL release in its entirety, and that my plans for the VOIDWATCH franchise are now in motion.
I want to thank everyone that has supported me throughout this difficult journey, but we have officially taken the first step towards the full release! I hope everyone enjoys the work I have created, and I encourage feedback!
The next Progress Report will be in late December 2026, so unless there are bug fixes that require Patch Notes to be posted you will not hear from me until then. Thank you, and ENJOY!
