Demo will be taken offline in 2 days

Hi all,

The Pocket Dinos demo will be taken offline in 2 days, around 30 August 2026 at 11:00 UTC (7:00 PM AWST).

The current demo will be retired while I rebuild it to better match the full game. Right now, demo saves cannot be transferred into the full version, which is a major issue, and the demo is also missing a number of quality-of-life improvements and newer features such as Research and Desktop Dinos.

The rebuilt demo will include these improvements, along with the ability to transfer your save into the full version. It will also allow more frequent updates to align with some of the new features coming to Pocket Dinos in the coming months.

Unfortunately, this also means that existing demo saves will not carry across to the new demo, so you will need to start a new save once it becomes available.

After this rebuild, the demo should have a much more stable foundation and remain playable throughout Early Access without needing another reset like this.

Thanks,
Diesel
