New Features

  • Added a Starting Loadout system: choose a specific relic to always start each run with, from the Difficulty-select screen (replaces the old random-offer-of-3 "Fortune's Eye" node). A second always-start slot unlocks via a new "Twin Fortunes" Meta-progression node. Only relics you've already discovered in a prior run are selectable.
  • Added a post-run shareable card: a "Share" button on the Victory screen and Game Over overlay renders a PNG summarizing the run (score, difficulty, time, stats, seed, every enemy defeated as overlapping portrait art, relics and gems), saves it to your Pictures/Tetrogue folder, and copies it to the clipboard. The Victory and Game Over screens now show this same card live on-screen instead of their own separate stats layout.
  • Run seeds are now a short 6-character code (e.g. "JF0Z5N") shown on the Difficulty-select screen and the run-summary card, and can be clicked to type in a custom seed to replay or share a specific run (mouse-only).
  • New relic: Stalwart — armor decays twice as slowly.

Balance

  • Reworked armor decay: it now removes exactly 1 armor per "tick," visualized by the shield icon's radial ring completing one full rotation — the ring's speed itself scales with your current armor (bigger stacks tick, and drain, faster).
  • "I Come Prepared" now grants 6 starting armor (was 3).

Quality of Life

  • Difficulty-select screen: Custom Difficulty and Challenges are now full clickable rows instead of small checkboxes; Custom Difficulty's sliders moved into their own overlay; added a new "Starting Relics" row to pick your loadout.
  • Every "press Escape to go back/pause" screen now goes through the same remappable input system as everything else — as a side effect, the battle screen (and others) can now be paused with a controller's Start button.
  • Resized and repositioned the armor shield icon (top-right of the HP heart) to read more clearly, and fixed the armor-count number floating beside the icon instead of sitting on top of it.
  • Reorganized relic display order in the Tetredex and Starting Loadout picker to group related relics together instead of listing them in whatever order they were added.

Fixes

  • Fixed the Victory screen's "new difficulty unlocked" banner overlapping the run stats.
  • Fixed the Game Over screen's Restart button rendering invisible until the mouse first moved or a controller was touched.
  • Fixed bosses (Minotaur, Demon Slime, Undead Executioner) continuing to attack — including landing garbage-line attacks — after the player had already died.
  • Fixed pressing Enter to confirm a typed seed or custom-difficulty value also triggering whatever button the screen's keyboard focus happened to be on (most often immediately pressing Start Game).
