Hello everyone, welcome to Erratum's first patch notes, version 1.1.4!
STOP if you haven't read our previous announcement about protecting your save data. Be sure to do so BEFORE updating your game. Otherwise, you may be at risk of losing your progress.
Now onto the main event:
Starting us off, the on-screen movement pad for touch-screen controls is now hidden by default; however you can still turn it on if you prefer playing that way via the settings menu. It is currently listed as "Show Movement Buttons". We apologize for the previous eyesore, but worry no longer! Note: some of the tutorial dialogue may have changed as a result.
Certain button states (when selected or hovered over) within the settings menu and level select have received visual exaggerations to make it clearer that you are interacting with them.
Step count has been removed to encourage more exploration and reduce the pressure that players may feel towards optimizing their movement.
Collectible count is now displayed on the top right of the screen (collectibles can still be seen in the pause menu).
You can now use the space bar to progress dialogue (you can still use enter to do that as well).
Thank you again for playing through our game and giving our studio a chance. We hope that these changes help make your experience more enjoyable, and we'll be back again in the future with a few more fixes and optimizations. Until next time!
