Hello Tasklings! ːttbluecubeː
If Task Time is about panic, physics, and making the wrong decision at speed, the Tasklings needed to feel right at home.
These are the little folks you'll be playing as. Weird little shapes with arms and legs, big expressions, and the sort of energy that suggests they should not be trusted near office furniture, kitchen equipment, or anything vaguely flammable.
A big part of Task Time is making your own little menace. You can unlock and dress your Taskling in 500+ cosmetics and use 150+ emotes, which means a lot of hats, outfits, shoes, faces, accessories, and increasingly bad ideas. (with zero micro-transactions)
You can play as a fast-food cop, a tiny prince, or a jester on a skateboard. You can also spend twenty minutes fine-tuning your look, ready to show off on the dance floor!
The Tasklings are a big part of why Task Time feels playful from the second a round starts, even when the task itself is complete nonsense. They are cheerful little problem-solvers right up until the moment they start sabotaging each other.
Which, to be fair, is exactly what they were designed for.
See you in the next task,
Sam ːttyellowcylinderː
