Hi everyone,

We've just released another patch for the Silver Pines demo, ahead of Steam Next Fest on Monday. This patch adds in some quality of life improvements as well as several bug fixes.

The biggest change in this demo patch is the added ability to destroy wooden barricades using the Shotgun. Please share your feedback with us on this change and how it affects backtracking!

Full Patch Notes

  • Added a few more hints

  • Small UI tweaks to make some fonts more readable, such as in-world interact prompts

  • Visuals update in a few scenes, mostly focusing on improved readability of interactable objects such as ladders

  • Shotgun can now destroy the wooden barricades

  • Fix 'Healing' status effect UI not being removed top after dying and reloading a save

  • Fix for Playstation button prompts

  • Made coins in phone coin return slot more visible

  • Text string updates

  • Fix getting stuck under the boat dock

  • Disable being able to drop certain key items

  • Fix closing the map during map reveal meaning the map is never revealed.

  • Added some tooltips to some menu options to provide extra information on what these options do

  • Game will now pause correctly when Steam overlay is open or game is no longer in focus

  • Fix not correctly refreshing button prompts after controller prompt type in the options
