Our voyage is gaining speed. We’ve been buried deep in the hold, hard at work to make your adventures across the Forgotten Ocean even more insane. It’s time to unveil the mystery: our first major content update, "Winds of Change" will fill the sails of Curse of Pirates on May 25!
A new legend joins the roster — the brutal rocker Edric Stormblade. This scoundrel clearly struck a deal with the storm: his entire skill kit is surged with electricity and built around massive critical hits. Shredding enemies to Edric’s guitar riffs has never felt (or looked) more badass!
And with him comes a brand-new weather condition — Thunderstorm. Navigating these maps will throw you straight into the eye of a raging elemental vortex. And watch out for those lightning strikes! Trust us, they don't just hit the water.
Of course, no update would be complete without fresh horrors lurking in the seas. Strange Electro-Airships have been spotted across the archipelagos. These flying monstrosities can hunt you down even through the trickiest island terrain.
We have added the Submarine to your disposal. You can unlock this beauty after taking down the Kraken. And this beast is built for true hardcore captains: no auto-aiming at nearby enemies, only manual targeting… but with rear-mounted cannons ready to blast a fiery greeting at anything chasing your tail.
