ICYMI: A.A.U. Black Site At Gamescom A Recap

Our very first Gamescom has come and gone. It’s left us feeling fortunate, humbled, and re-energized for the future of A.A.U. Black Site.

First we’d like to give a big THANK YOU to every person who came by the Infernozilla booth and played A.A.U. Watching people play, give feedback, and react in real time is something completely and amazingly different than what we are used to.

During Gamescom, we revealed some in-progress features not yet available in preparation of our next major update coming later in September. Players got the chance to try out our brand new, gory blood system and play with bullet time in-mission, not just in the Dev Room. Feedback has been the lifeblood of A.A.U. since before launch, and this time we got to watch firsthand how players interacted with our game.

It was interesting to not just hear how players felt, but watch what route they went, what items they saw (or didn’t!), how they handled the action vs. horror. Needless to say (though we will say it), we learned a lot!

Gamescom was a great experience all around, and a dream come true to showcase A.A.U. on the show floor. Thanks again to everyone who dropped by, we hope to see you next year!

Experience the horror of A.A.U. and don't forget to leave a review! 💜
